RE: easiest to install
another question, do you still have to tune for field points and retune for brodheads with a drop away rest? had to laugh at myself for the "fall away" as above.............again, thanks for all..............Mitch

RE: easiest to install
I'm not aware of a single rest that requires on to press a bow for it's installation, drop away or fixed.
You still need to tune your bow for field points/broadheads, as differing FOCs and slightly off tuning specs will tend to show with fixed broadheads. |
RE: easiest to install
If your dropaway requires you to tie into a cable, then yes a bowpress may be neccessary to split it. As far as ease of set-up, nothing beats the Trapdoor.

RE: easiest to install
You can install the Trophy taker drop away without using a press. I just set - up my new liberty this way. All you do is serve the down cable about 1" where you would normally split it through the string and then tie the string that attatches to the rest over top of the serving just as if you were going to tie a string loop. If I can get my good buddy MAtt to bring over his digital camera I will try and post a pic of it.

RE: easiest to install
I keep having good luck with the NAP 4000s. Easy to set up, and easieast to adjust when tuning.
