Bowtech guys, I have a question.
I'm looking for a stablizer to put on the backside of my 03 Patriot's riser. Which one should I use? I'm using a GKF Tranquilzer on the front.
Thanks Sorry guys, I didn't see there was already a similar post. |
RE: Bowtech guys, I have a question.
I have had the Tranquilizer in the front and Chubby Hunter (about 2 1/2") in the back. I also tried a 4 " doinker and think it just fit. My bow is a '02 which is alittle more top heavy. I've decided now to shoot with just the back hole stabilizer. It really shoots the same and in some hunting situations I really hate having that dang stabilizer in the way. I like keeping it simple as possible!
Good Luck! |
RE: Bowtech guys, I have a question.
i had a 02 patriot.now i have had the 03 for almost a year and i don't use any stabs at all they just add weight and make it harder to hold on target.with a front and back stab you would have to fight the bow up all the time. i shoot much better without .the bow dose not need them anyway give it a honest try and see what it feels like to you.

RE: Bowtech guys, I have a question.
I have a short Quiet Tune in the back. I think it weighs either 2 or 4 oz.

RE: Bowtech guys, I have a question.
I've got a single Sims module on the inside of my
'03 Pat SC, w/ a 4" D2 Doinker on the front. |
RE: Bowtech guys, I have a question.
I have alternated between a Sims regular Enhancer, Enhancer 2000 Shortie and the inside "shortened" component of a GKF Tranquilizer shorty. All with varying degress of balance.

Can I ask which setup felt the most balanced? Just curious as I own a 03 Patriot. |
