Shot Gold tips they are great shafts!! I would go with the XT's just because they tend to be a little straighter.

I just made the switch to Easton ACC's they are the best!!!

Carbon Express 3D Select 300's - 8 grains per inch and fly really flat out of my 70 lb. BowTech Patriot! They are also straight to +/- .001

Good Luck!

I was using Gold Tip's but have changed to Carbon Force now. They are produced by P.S.E.

Well, it would seem that Goldtips are quite popular. :) I would also suggest the Beman ICS arrows. I have found them to be quite durable and relatively low cost compared to some other ICS style carbons out there.

How do you plan to use them?

I'm going to try the Beman Carbonmetal Matrix this year I think... Straightness of alum with the benifits of carbon....

Beman ICS 400's are very reliable arrows. And they don't carry the price tag of gold tips or acc's.

I only pay $30 per half dozen for gold tip hunters or $40 for the Xt's at the local shop. Not to expensive.

SportsMn , I had trouble with the Beman Matrix bending fairly easy..... they are not nearly as durable as A/C/C's .

As for the poll:

I have used A/C/C's and they are nice arrows .......but they will bend (not easily) and they are very expensive (comparitively) for something that gets lost, broken, bent , hit with other arrows, etc. !! When a deer breaks one of my carbons I do not cringe like I did shooting A/C/C's !!

The best arrow money I have spent in the last 2 years has been buying PSE Dominator arrows for $59 a dozen and putting Easton nocks in them. They shoot as accurately as any I have shot out to 50 yrds and are tougher than any arrows I have used. Also ,as with all 100 % carbons, they are broke or straight......no in between ! :D

Prefer A/C/Cs by far, but will try anything and everything.

In all-carbon shafts I prefer Easton/Beman C2 process shafts, and Carbon Express is a close second.

I use both the Beman ICS Hunters and Easton Evolutions. As stated before, the Beman and Easton ICS carbons are terrific quality for the cost.

I've been shooting CarbonWood shafts by Blackhawk out of my recurve. I'm pleased with them so far as well.

I've been using Gold Tip 7595, but plan on trying a brand with a heavier shaft.

Beman 340's (10.3g) slowed the speed of my bow but provide alot of punch. I shot a simulator with a couple friends with comparable bows(and lighter arrows) and the difference in the sound the impact made was considerable, i.e pop vs. whaack!! ;)
