Well, I was all decided on a new Hoyt bow this year, but now, since a lot of you guys are yappin about the new Bowtech's, I've come across a dillema. I have always been a Hoyt shooter and have absolutely no complaints with them. But, since Bowtech started making waves a few years back, I've always respected them and liked what they were about.

Well, in comes the Bowtech Liberty. I really like the specs on the bow and can't wait to shoot one this weekend at a shop just to try. From Matt/Pa, drooling posts over this baby, I can already tell I'll have a bow war of my own on my hands with these two bows.

I have not shot the Hoyts this year but I did shoot a Liberty on Saturday.

Agreed. I like the new Hoyts, the new BowTechs, the PSE's look pretty nice, new Parkers sound neat, and I'm sure we'll see some other great stuff in the coming months. The good thing is that we have a large number of quality designs these days..it just a matter of finding what works for each individual. I can't think of a single bow company out there who doesn't have at least one bow I'd like to own.

I was all set on the Vipertec, but I honestly am going to put the Liberty through some paces at the shop to get a feel for it too. I shot the Vipertec breifly, but will shoot it a bunch more, hopefully right beside the Bowtech to get a better comparison.

I gotta admit, the long, ugly riser and short lil limbs are beginning to grow on me some.:)

Doublelung, buy both...now there a concept! That'll sure have me sleeping on the couch for a while.:D

Pabowhunter, yeah, a great year for bows. Thats what scares me, and my fiancee. I have already gotten "the look" a few times while reading you guys' post lately.
