I know little about the Brutus stands except for the ones I saw in catalogs are expensive. Hunters' View stands may be ok, but there was a recall a couple of years ago on Hunters View stands and some here have not given them good reviews.

Check out Lone Wolf(expensive), Summit, Gorilla, and some others too.

I agree with Cougar Mag, and myself prefer the Lone Wolf stands. Pinwheel 12

Lone Wolf make the quietest stands out there, I would not trust any others!

I have heard some good things about the Brutus treestands though, admittedly, I have not yet tried one myself. Hunter's View usually makes relatively inexpensive equipment. In some cases this also means poor quality...but not all. If you get a chance then see if you can find someone that has each stand...or at least a shop that carries one or the other and then go from there.

Summit. Any questions?

I bought a Summit this year and absolutely love it. Pretty light, extreme comfort and rock solid.

What else do you need?
