Since everyone is talking about the Liberty and how smooth it is. I'm curious about the duallies. Come on, someone has had to have pulled one back. Pro 40 & Patriot are what I'm interested in

I'd like to know also because I've got one ordered:D She'll be a black and red 3D beauty:) I think I read that Pat says they are smoother with a slightly longer valley and the bearings in the '04 cams will help the draw cycle. They are supposed to be faster this year also.

Yes, please give some details about the duallies...especially the pro 40. I currently have an 03 patriot dually that I like, but might want to try the pro 40 dually if the draw curve and valley are a little better.

It also looks like the pro 40 riser has the wider shelf on it in the bowtech pictures. Has this riser been re-designed? Need info...please!

I shot the P 40 Dually. The draw felt similar to last years, but the draw force curve felt flatter. That is to say smoothed out. The roll over was less pronounced and the valley may be a smidge wider. I think a big improvement is in the shot. Less recoil and vibration. The grip is also improved, again. It has more heel to it. I'm waiting on an 04 of my own. Then I can really get down to it.
live2, the shelf and sight window are enlarged for 04. The riser has been changed. It is wider across the back and slimmed down in the front. This, I'm sure, is to add rigidity. The balance is pretty neutral now.

Has anyone else shto one of the duallys. I am intersted in the Patriot Dually but I am not interested in shooting something that feels like it's going to rip my shoulder off if I creep a little bit. Does anyone know how smooth this bow is to draw and how does the valley feel? Thank You.

silent, I only shot the P40 Dually, but expect the Patriot to be very similar. I don't feel the narrow valley is a problem. With the lower let off you become automatically more aware of it, as you shoot and get used to the bow. I don't know how else to describe it. On the 04s the draw is somewhat smoothed out. And as I said earlier, the valley is a little wider. You need to shoot one to see what I'm talking about. If you like your 02 Pat (as I think you do), you will love the 04. What an incredible improvement in two years.

Thanks pdq. I do LOVE my 02 Patriot. I have grown so attached to it that the thought of "cheating" on it has been weighing heavily on my my mind:D I figure I will keep the 02 for a back up and if I like the 04 dually, I will be shooting it come next season.

I have a Black knight with the 63/4 inch back brace I really like it but I have to wear a arm guard because it hits me in the wrist. its a very fast bow I checked it on the clubs crono it was 331 fps at 29 inch draw I also use the zero effect rest. I really like the 65% letoff I never liked the 75 and above.
