Archery Coach?

I have heard a couple of people talking about coaches. I would like to find one in my area. What does a coach cost and what benifits does one offer? I plan to shoot IBO this year and could benifit from some one that has done it before.

Grndzer,

Since we can't see ourselves shoot, other than by filming with a video camera it is difficult to detect or know your form flaws. This is especially true if bad habits have been formed because everything feels comfortable to us. An experienced coach that is trained to teach correct form will be able to instruct you in what changes need to be made. There are other important things that can be instructed like backtension, pacing of the shot sequence.

Aim Hard!

Larry Wise is a good coach. He is in Miffintown, PA. (717)436-6629, [email protected], www.corearchery.com

Larry will travel if there is a group to teach.

There are also other good coaches around the country who will travel for expenses plus a fee. The further they are away from you increases the expense.

If you're in the Baltimore area, we also give lessons.
