Draw length

Has any body played with about an inch less draw length for tree stand hunting. The reason I ask is for the change in angle when shooting downward I would think that would shorten the distance to your anchor point. I may be wrong and I am sure someone will correct me, just a thought.

Welcome to the forum. Changing your draw length would require changing your sight pins. Also it will be difficult to be consistent while practicing. The universal recommendation for shooting out of a tree is to draw to your normal length and bend at the waist to change your angle. It's easier to maintain your shooting form and consistency.
