adjusting draw weight by myself??
I' m shooting a pse firestorm and I was wondering if it is safe to adjust my draw weight on my own. I' d like to increase up to 70 lbs, and I' m on 62 i think right now. Is there a website that' ll give me some good instructions to make sure I' m cranking it down evenly on both limbs or is this not a good idea. I appreciate it. Any advice would be great.

RE: adjusting draw weight by myself??
NC, its very easy take a allen wrench that is the right size and place it on the bolt at a common point and turn it 1 full turn to that point i told you about and then do it tot he other side just do 1 turn at a time IT' s JUST AS SAFE AS YOU STANDING AT THE PRO SHOP AND WATCHING SOMEONE TIGHTENG IT simple as that;)

RE: adjusting draw weight by myself??
To add to what 6pt said. If you think that you didn' t turn them the same, you can tighten them both all of the way down, and start backing it off from there. Or you could mark it, then you wouldn' t have to worry about not turning it 360.

thanks guys..i really appreciate it. i kinda figured that' s all i had to do. one more question... if my bow says 70 lbs for max weight and i tighten it all the way down will it max out at actually 70 or would it be possible that it would be more than that?? not that i will make that big of an increase in weight, but i was just wondering for general knowledge. thanks a lot.

It can be a few pounds more. I guess it depends on your arrow weight and what not.
