RE: size of the vans
yeah they will work BUT i dont know how well!! *LOL* it depends on really how well tuned your bow is.. if its in tune then you should not have as much of a problem but since thunderheads are a fixed blade then your going to have more wind shear than a mechanical..if your going to use 3 inch then go with a mechanical.. I would use a larger vane for fixed broadheads

RE: size of the vans
Pretty much a " ditto" on what Josh stated. Personally, I would not use the 3 inch vanes with any type of exposed blade broadhead like the T-heads though one could probably get away using them with an expandable head. Unless you are having some sort of clearance problem with 4 inch vanes I would wonder why you want to go down to 3 inch?

RE: size of the vans
I wouldn' t use 3" vanes for fixed broadheads either. They may be OK for field point. In fact I seem to get my best flight with four 4.75" vanes offset.

RE: size of the vans
I am using 3" vanes with my Muzzy 100gr broadheads and have had no problems. I used them because that is what I had on for 3-D shooting. Thinking about changing to the 4" for next season.

RE: size of the vans
Wow 3" thats a mite small. I shoot 3 3/4" with 100 gr wasps, but would' t go any smaller.
