Bow Grip???
I was just wondering how ya' ll hold your bow?? Do ya' ll just let it rest against your hand when shooting or do ya' ll have a grip on it?? Just wondering. Thanks.

RE: Bow Grip???
I myself, have no grip on the bow.. the bow just rests in my hand. That way I dont torque the handle in any way!

RE: Bow Grip???
I have a very loose grip, but will grip it using my thumb and index finger. It' s mostly just for comfort and reassurance in the bow.

RE: Bow Grip???
you dont want to grip your bow because this will cause tork and thats not good. but i have also seen guys just stick there fingers out strait and lock them, and thats not good either what i have is a low grip with my fingers and thumb relaxed this way the riser is only coming in cotact with my palm. know thats just how i do it. doesnt meen its right. (but thats what bernie pallaties told me to do);)[:-]

RE: Bow Grip???
I shoot with a cupped hand. My fingers and thumb are off the grip and the bow rests snug against my palm. I have a wrist strap as well.

Go here:

RE: Bow Grip???
I shoot with the only contact between my hand and the riser being in the area between my thumb and pointer finger. I seem to prefer a medium wrist grip style for the moment though that is probably the result of the grip designs on the bows that I am currently shooting.

RE: Bow Grip???
I shoot a Loush 100% torque free grip. It is a very slick idea that he has on the grip.
