Used Hoyt Ultra Tech
 

I posted this on Bowhunting Equipment Reviews - but no replies, I try it here, sorry, I' m not trying to spam, just need help asap.


I' ve been looking for a target bow.
Now I have an opportunity to purchase 2002 Ultra Tech with X2000 limbs.
This bow was used by young target champ, and the bow is well known at our proshop. He' s asking for bare bow app. $400 USD. Private deal, no taxes, no shipping, local dealer is willing to set it up for me. I' m not up to date with fair prices for used equipment, And I am looking for an independent advice regarding price and opinions as to my choice of a target bow, I' m pretty proficient with my hunting bow Jennings Trophy Master 34" A to A, hard cam with Trophy Ridge matrix sight.
Please help.

Man, if I didn' t just buy a new leupold I would bid on that bow. The rest alone is $100.

If you can wait a few months, the new 04 hoyts will be out and many of the hard core target guys will be dumping their perfectly good 03 bows in lieu of the new 04s.

I would bet you could find an 03 Cam and 1/2 in a target color for darn near the same money as this 02 versacam ultratec.

Take a look on Archery Talk in the classified section. Plenty of 03 UTs in there right now.
