Question about wet string.

When I went hunting tonight it started pouring. I have heard if you are going to go out in the rain to make sure that your string is heavily waxed. Well mine needed some wax but wasn' t completely dry. Should I just let it air out and then wax it, or do I have to blow dry it or something to get the moisture out.

RE: Question about wet string.

Let it air out and wax it with silicone based wax.
Never let your string be un-waxed anyway because the damage starts most times from the inside out.
Be carefull with scent and sounds to.

Also how heavily do you wax the cable. Whenever I wax that I get build up on my cable slide and bar.
