So what did you end up trying/doing?

I forgot I was going to be out of the office all day last Friday, so I didn' t get a chance to call Diamond. I want to shoot it a few more times today to refresh my memory, then give them a call.

Hmmm.... Just slipped next doors to fire off a couple arrows, and nothing. No sound whatsoever.

Only thing I noticed is perhaps I wasn' t pulling as hard with my back, just settled in and held it there.

Perhaps it was just do to excessive back tension after all... I' ll see what the day brings.

jimmy, my understanding is that in order to lube your axles, you need to tear your bow down. Is this incorrect?

I' m four days away from a 4 day bowhunt. Tuned up and shooting great. If I can somehow lube the axles without affecting the tune job, I' ll give it a try, otherwise, it' s gonna have to wait until late January...

Hopes makes a dry sillicone spray , you might try spraying without takeing it down . , definately dont want to do that at this point , but when your hunt is thru you might want to try it, the best way is to remove and lube and then reassemble .

Keep it clean and dry.
Or better, dry and clean.
Make sure your cable slide is like new.
Those are one of the little things that make the difference on a good shooting bow.
