How do you tie in your peep?

I wanted to see how everyone ties in their peep sights. I currently use over hand knots.

I have always referred to it as the " PSE method" since I picked it up at one of their training sessions...however, I am sure it is one of the methods mentioned above. I simply tie half knots on both sides of the bowstring for about 10-12 " knots" total.

PA then do you burn the string to seal it?

Once I' ve got the peep in and the bow out of the press. I take my material and loop it around one of the sections of string. I make about 6 tight wraps with each end then around the string section, 2 half hitches and burn the ends.

Although that method will work, I have developed what I feel is a faster/better way of serving in the peep/any peep. This is one of the things I will be teaching at the ATA Trade Show this year. Anyone who is attending the show will see this and demonstrations on the usage of modern tools. I will be in touch with a lot of manufacturers with the thought in mind of working smarter with the right tools.;)

I only make two wraps arround the peep itself and it stays in place perfectly.
I have zebra strings on all my bows.
The less you tie in your string, the faster it goes, the less sound it makes.

I' ve seen peeps served in, where it would be difficult to move the peep when fine tuning it' s position. Wouldn' t it be better to use a method that allows easy adjustment, or is it better to tie it securely and then re-tie it if you need to move it?
