RE: How do you tie in your peep?

Once the peep is in place, I take dental floss and back serve being sure to pull the tag under at least 7 loops. Then I take my fingernails and push the mini serving I just did back in towards the peep. This locks it down even tighter. Dental floss that is waxed and flat ( ribbon) type is great to use as it is strong and stays tight and is nearly invisible. It also stays in place well when serving. Just pull out a 10" length and hand serve it both above and below the peep ( two seperate pieces).

thenuge,

Sorry for not getting back sooner. Yes, I do burn it to seal it in place.

Straightarrow,

Having used both the over and under knot method and the backserve method I can tell you that I prefer the former as it does make for easier adjustments. The trick is to tie it tight enough so that it is very difficult to move and yet not entirely " set" in one position if you need to move it.
