fletching clearance
I bought a used Hoyt compound bow 2 yrs ago and started off with a paper tuning. I got the horizontal position set pretty straight but after a month of shooting I noticed a streak on the indide of the riser with fletching residue. I tried moving the rest over to clear the fletching and paper shot again and it showed the tail was to the side, so I moved it back. My question is if I should leave it so the fletching contacts the riser or move the rest and risk a side to side tail flight, thanks.
P.S. I will be buying a new bow for next year so this fix will only be for this season. |
RE: fletching clearance
Nathan, have ya tried to rotate your nock a little so that you get no contact on the rest and the riser?
