Wonder if they work, are compatible with limb savers, cost you any fps and come in a cherry bomb version... :)

Man, where do you keep finding this stuff? But if it weren' t for your " seen this yet" posts there wouldn' t be much to read some days. Is it just me or are things a whole lot slower around here than they were this time last year.

Regarding the mufflers, I wonder what they mean when they say it' ll keep your bow quite? Quite what? I shouldn' t pick on them for spelling because I know I' m not perfect, but you' d think they' d have someone proof read their ads.

Okay, maybe I can understand how it muffles bow noise and vibration. I can see how it can reduce hand shock. But how in the Sam Hill does it reduce target panic??? I think someone' s reaching a little too far for that one. ;)

I' ve had bow mufflers on my last two mathews bows and I love them! They do help quiet the bow even more by covering up the limb pockets. A lot of noise comes from limb pockets!! They look great IMO and are very univeral (they can be trimmed to fit your bow). They help quiet your bow while on stand (you can lay your bow across an arm rest and not worry about noise. They protect your limbs from nicks, scratches, etc. They also absorb scents great. I take many scent precaution measures. One of them is storing my bow with Scent wafers and the bow muffler soaks it up and disperses the scent for days. I also soak them down real good before each hunt with scent killer.

I have not seen any adverse affects on speed, what-so-ever.

They are right up there in my top 5-10 bow mod' s.

Oh Yeah!! I forgot........as far as reducing target panic!! I' m with Authur there.....I really dought it, unless their theory was that by reducing vibration, it would then reduce target panic. Who know?

Hoyt had been producing something similar to them several years ago. I had a set of the split limb models on the my Havoc Redline for a time. They are still sitting in my gadget cabinet. They seemed to work " ok" but not anywhere near as well as some of the other noise/vibration reducing gadgets on the market. What I really liked about them was that they protected the bow limbs from nicks and scratches while hunting. It made resale somewhat easier to say " not a scratch on it" .....;)
