Spec your bow performance? DATA!!!
Spent half the morning on the phone with a co-worker that's looking to get into bowhunting, trying to explain the differences between different bows, and he was rightfully confused about performance differences between bows: "why would one 28" draw, 70lb bow be XXXfps and another 28"/70# bow be YYYfps?" Enter the conversation about power curves, cam advancement, etc etc...
So at any rate, I started using specific bows of my own or my customers as examples, and that got me thinking it might be fun to post a thread here and sort of 'performance number database' some of the bows out there. Not trying to let this turn into a pi$$ing contest with anybody, just thought it would be interesting to see how much energy different bows are getting out of different DL's and DW's.
So, without further ado, POST YOUR BOWS!!!
