aiming a bow?

So when I was shooting a rifle I would lollypop the target. is this the same shooting a bow? also when im am shooting I have to aim to the left of the target to shoot center. I got sick of messing up witch direction I was moving the sights do I want to move it left or do I want to move it right? I have to aim six inches to the left of center.

When I shot compound, I always covered the POI with the bead of the pin (i.e. cover the spot you want to hit).

If you are consistently hitting right, move the pin to the right. Should only take a minor adjustment if you're consistently hitting the same spot.

Thanks I will go try that tomorrow. Life would be so much easier if I did not have to work. Also I noticed I shoot better in low light does anyone else notice this. I was doing low light practice last night.

That's right - you move the sights in the direction you are missing (assuming you are right handed, if you are hitting left, move your sights left (away from the bow)). Now to be sure your bow is properly runed I suggest you read the first two stickies in this forum and download the Easton tuning guide. You will be shooting good in no time.

Could be your grip also...but its opposite of rifle shooting...if you are shooting left move the pin left shooting high move the pin up. Paper tune first then take it from there.
