peep sight

I am fairly new to bow hunting and I have been practicing daily. I am having a problem and don't know how to fix it. I just had the string on my bow changed. The peep sight and the D loop were attached in the same spot as on the old string. I wear glasses and when I look thru the peep sight I can see my pins but am having a hard time seeing my deer target. I am shooting into the sun, target is in the shade as if I was hunting with the same conditions. Sorry this is so long winded. Thanks for any help you may have.

Do you wear glasses? If so you possibly need a clarifier peep. I use one and works fine. Check Lancaster archery supply

Shooting through a peep shouldn't make a difference with glasses on sometimes. It could be shooting into the sun that is causing a glare. I shoot with glasses and have a 2 power lens and see clear without a clarifier. I don't even use a clarifier when I use my 4x lens.

I was having the same issue and was looking into a clarifier until i found out it only helps when using a lens style sight. Just using the clarifier to clear up the target itself wont help.

Maybe try shooting with both eyes open, that may help. Most people were telling me your eyes will only focus on one or the other. Target or pins. They told me to concentrate on the target and it will clear up, but the pins may get blurry. Really didn't help me though.
