RE: hunting w/ 3" or 4" vanes?
 

I' d stick with the 4" ers. Its the safe call. If you want to mess around and completely test and willing to go back if you have problems, go for it. I do know guys who shoot 3" vanes and have good success. They limit they' re shots at about 25 yards.
