cables?
 

my cables on my bow seem to be getting flat and the little strands are seperating does this mean i need new cables or can they be twisted up to tighten them and if they twist them up to tighten them or i need new ones will it make my bow out of tune

i don' t know why they are getting flat , are they old? if it' s a two cam and you twist the cables make sure you twist them equally top and bottom or you will throw off the timing . the best thing to do is take it to your pro shop and have them check it out for you .

which side of the cable slide should be facing out towards the string the long grove side or the short groove side i could swear the sort side groove was closer to the string but i took it to the shop and now the long groove side is closer to the string
