RE: New to bow, ? on Release, sights, ect...
I will say this.....you will get what you pay for!! Do not make ALL of your decisions just on price. To determine you' re correct arrow length, etc. you really need to find a good bow shop. We are all timid the first few times, but I have found that most bow shop tech' s are very nice and more than willing to help you. If they are snobby or act like they don' t want to help you, turn around and walk out......theres way too many bow shops around to put up with BS. I would recommend looking into the Simms Laboratory products. You can never quiet your bow enough. Good luck to you.

RE: New to bow, ? on Release, sights, ect...
I' m certainly no expert, but a few of the things I learned through trial when it comes to equipment: make sure whatever release you choose doesn' t have any trigger travel(most cheap ones seem to), if you will be using multiple fixed pins on a sight look for sights that offer zero pin gap and that either come with a level or that will accept an after market sight level, and above all never accept what the pro shop tells you as gospel truth until you do some research on your own!
