yeah my camo finish is coming off the front of my riser wonder if mathews wuold send me another,the only thing i can tell different is i been rubbing down with bug spray.

Bingo!:( I have a MQ1 and a Pat DC with the same problem. I don' t believe paint is covered under your warranty.:(

;)You need to take it back to your mathews dealer. I have a friend who sellS mathews bows and he told me the other day that he had replaced a riser on
an LX that had the finish coming off. That bow was covered under the warranty.
I don' t know how long the finish is warranted but you dealer can answer that question.

I could be wrong. I wonder if my 7 or 8 year old MQ1 could get a new risor? Just got new limbs for it last year. Be like brand new![:-]

My Pat warranty say paint and/or film dipped finishes not covered.:( Looks worse than my Mathews and its only 3 weeks old.

i have a new mathews MQ1 but just curious.. where do you pick up new limbs from?? how much is a set??

If you been " rubbing down with bug spray" Thts your problem....Thaat stuff will take any finish....Freind of mine learned the hard way....Mathews still replaced his riser...

If the bug spray has enough deet it will take finish off. I know someone who used like 60 percent and it took the paint of his camo shot gun.

had no idea about bug spray but do now,mathews said they would correct the problem.
