arrow lifting off rest
hopefully someone can tell me whats going on with this. My dad owns a parker ultralite 32 with a bodoodle rest (not sure which one) he shoots with a release and a string loop. our problem is when drawing the bow the arrow wants to lift off the rest and move to the riser side. we' ve tried installing a peep aligner by T.R.U. inside the loop to stop nock pinch but this did not help, we' ve moved the nock point up and down with no luck. Anyone have this problem before? Any input would be great.

RE: arrow lifting off rest
Make sure the knots on your string loop are tied on opposite sides of your string. I tied my own loop and I was having the same problem until I switched one of the knots to the other side. It hasn' t happened since.

RE: arrow lifting off rest
try tieing your loop BELOW the arrow. You can still use the loop as normal, but the SLIGHT differance in the fulcrum point on the string will hold the arrow down while you draw (Much like using a release under the arrow).

RE: arrow lifting off rest
Odds are your loop knots are slipping & coming together which pinches the nock and causes the arrow to lift. Try spreading the knots and tie a nock above the bottom knot and below the top knot to prevent this.

RE: arrow lifting off rest
On my bow, I have nocks tied in. What would it hurt if I tied a string loop on top and below these. Anyone do this?

RE: arrow lifting off rest
That' s basically what i was trying to explain. Just something to keep the knots apart.
