Drop away rest

Drop away rest
Well my whisker biscuit is starting to get a little worn and the guy at the archery shop noticed too, so this will probably be the last year for it. He said my next investment should be a drop away rest. I like the idea of more speed and less noise, but I really don't know anything about them, so I'm asking for some input from you guys. Any advice or recommended drop away rests would be nice.....just remember I'm not rich so take it easy on the prices

I like the NAP Apache drop away. Priced at around $60 it has a full containment system, is strong, quiet and reliable. I was like you last year and was skeptical about the drop away rests until I tried this on. I liked it so much that I purchased another for my other bow. And I also used a Whisker Biscuit too prior to this and my accuracy has improved dramatically.

It's all about personal preference. I prefer a drop away. I have used a couple different ones, Limbsaver, Drop Zone and others. They all work good if set up properly for the bow. Remember speed shouldn't be the deciding factor, rather consistancey should be. For it will not matter how fast your arrow is if you are not consistant in your shot.
