Anyone Painted a Quiver hood?

I want to paint my Tightspot Quiver hood black. It is currently camo.

Has anyone tried this as I don't fully trust durability of normal spray paint?

quiver

I spray painted one black that was camoed and it turned out great. I used regular flat black from Walmart.

I tried it as well since this is an older post. I scarified the surface, then primed it. After that I had to try 3 different paints to get one that didn't come off easily. I used a matte "camo" paint. However I find even with an automotive (matte) clear coat, it scratches really easy when in the woods. Rattle-cans have limited quality. So I went and got in water-transfer-imaged (dipped) in carbon fibre and they use a real automotive clear that is way stronger than anything you can buy in a rattle can.

I would think that the Krylon Fusion paint would work nicely for this.
