Older Bow

I have an older Hoyt,10 -12 years, cant remember the series. My question is do I have to purchase a new one? I shoot consistent 2-3 inch groups at 45 yards. I have been reading threads and it seems to me that a lot of hunters are buying new bows every couple of years. Is this a fad or am I missing something? Thanks.

I would say just shoot whatever your comfortable with. I don't buy a new bow every couple of years, maybe every 3-4 yrs I buy a new one,, and this is only because bows are getting faster. I thinker faster is better, one pin up to 40 takes alot out of the guess work, and makes hard shots easier with a flatter arrow trajectory.
