Mathews Reezen

A buddy of mine bought a brand new Mathews Reezen and the third shot blew the string off. He took it to the bow shop and they inspected it and put the string back on, telling him everything is fine. What ever this bow did,, it welped his arm bad. He has been shooting for a very long time, now he is scared of it everytime it makes a noise. Does anyone know why this bow did this, and will Mathews replace this bow as an exchange? Thanks for any info. Travis.

A lot of people have had this happen, and most dealers, and Mathews will say it is your fault. That you torqued the bow upon release. I do not know!!!

Wow are you serious? My buddy has been shooting since a kid, and its his fault? Mathews will for sure loose sales on this one, the novice shooter can not shoot this bow without a chance of it blowing up on them. Anyhow,, thanks for the input...
