RE: Bow sights-I" m looking for the best one.
B77,
Check out the HTM sights. You can go with a scope or pins with one; take your choice. To me, the finest sights made anywhere. Sag. http://www.htmbowsights.com |

Not sure of the web site but go to www.google.com and type in Vital Bow Gear. Look at their Trapper model. It has three pins and is brighter than any others I' ve seen without the aid of a light. Hope this helps. I love mine.[:-]

get yourself a copper john deadnuts or a spott hogg you won' t be dissapointed in either. I currently own the Copper John Dead Nuts Pro and love it. These 2 sights are the best sights out there for the money, go with either of them and you' ll never have a problem.

Spot Hog without a doubt. Super tough and guaranteed for life.:D

Everything you want is in the Impact Cosmic, with the exception of the 3 pin.
The brightest pin I' ve ever seen. Round Apeture with superior sight window. P&Y legal Depending on the speed of your setup you can get 1 pin out to 24-26 yards before adjusting. I was leery for the obvious reasons of messing around with the slide in the stand while trying to judge distance, but after practicing with it for a week or two it' s almost second nature. I wouldn' t take my money back for mine. The VBG stuff looks pretty good though too. I' ve seen those and they REALLY collect the light. If 3 pin is it for you, that' d be my suggestion as well. |

Ditto Trushot...I love mine. The only advice I' d give is go with the green pin not the red....it seems to halo alot less.

try the e-z sight from scrapejuice.you can shoot from 1 yard to 50 yards with it wiht deadly accuracy from ground or tree. its a no peep sight that works well in all light situations.i got one last year and took 1 buck and 5 hogs from 5 to 40 yards with no problem at all. deadly accurate.

Some of the brightest pins out there, are on Impact Archery sights.
[link]http://www.impactarchery.com/products.htm[/link] I have the Impact Solo, and I can see the pin when I can hardly see my hand in front of my face. If you want a 3 pin sight with a round pin guard, the Impact Trio is also amazingly bright. |

Impact Cosmic-I can' t imagine a brighter sight......

RE: Bow sights-I" m looking for the best one.
This year I have bought and tried several new sights. First I bought a CopperJohn Deadnuts Hunter. Well built sight but I found it to have a funny sound at the shot and the pins aren' t real bright without a add on light. Also the large round guard was hard to get into my peep. Then I tried a movable Impact Cosmic. Very bright almost too bright in sunlight. I didn' t care for the short distance this sight sticks out from the bow and the tought of trying to move this sight at the moment of truth with its double lock downs. I also have Cobra movable but it was very noisey in my opinion. Now I bought a TruGlo fixed pin sight. I forget the model name but it has three pins that have the long fiberoptic wraps which make it very bright and they are in a round pin guard with a white ring for centering in your peep. I found this round guard to be the perfect size. I think this will be my sight this year..........

For a fixed pin I use a Copper-Johns,but with my 46 year old eyes,I do like the brightness of the HHA-5000.Tru-Glo has a new 3-pin fixed,I think it`s called the Brite-Site.Cabelas has it for about 50.00 bucks, but it has a plastic appetture.Check out your archery shop because they do make it with all machined alunimum parts, which the way I would go.

Another vote for Impact Cosmic....It' s superbright in lowlight and with today' s speed bows, you don' t need more than one pin, especially when its adjustable.

As far as a peep sight you might want to check out the Red Hawk peep sight I just put one on my bow and it seems to help, Cabelas carries them
