I saw the Rage 40KE broadhead pass thru a doe and stick deep in the dirt. The arrow was shot from a Diamond Stud set at 48# with a 25" draw. Slightly quartering away, it had about a 2" hole going in and a 1.25" hole coming out. Descent blood trail. It cut a rib but I would be careful about hitting a big bone like the shoulder or spine. We like Magnus Stingers too.

X 2 on a fixed blade. i gave them up before for a mech, got mad, went back to fixed, and swore off changing what works.

Magnus buzzcuts or stingers great head fly awesome made tough as nails and you mess it up send it back they'll replace it My blood trails have been wide and short!!!! Id stay away from mechanicals w/ that set up

In all honesty, why are you wanting to use the Mechanicals vs. something that is more or less fool proof??? :confused0024: She will be much better off using a good solid FIXED blade head. Slick Trick, Magnus, whatever, don't go using a BH that requires excessive energy to accomplish what can be done with a more simple and less likely to fail design. I set my nephew up with a ST and a Carbon Express Nativ, both fly well, both will do the job if the archer puts the arrow where it needs to be.

Check out the Carbon Express Nativ....

Cut on contact heads would be much better IMO as well. I've even been thinkin about changing to the Magnus Stingers this year.
