Back To Life
First a little background. I bought a Browning bow back in 2000. I hunted with it 1 year and then put it up when I had to move to the city. Since then I have shot it maybe once a year. I plan to get it out this year and hunt with it.
It's 10 years old so do I need to replace the string? I looked over the limbs, serving and string and everything looks fine to me. Even so, what's the lifespan of a bow string? Though I've bowhunted for many years, I've been kind of 'out of the game' lately and the advancements in the field is quite amazing. Any thing else I should be looking for? Thanks in advance for any help! Scott |

I would replace them, just from 10 years of pressure and drying out. Strings and cables are cheaper than a broken nose.:s7:
