For the record, Savage' s web site sucks, and I like and use Savage equipment (drop away rest and pendulum sight).

If I recall correctly, it basically stops the cable slide from moving backwards during the draw after a set point, to build more tension and energy into the system...

Thats what it does[:o]

Heck I had the same thing on my SC Pat. Just set up a Trophy Taker to get proper clearance via the cable slide. That sucker will be so tight, its borderline patent infringment on Mathews rollar guard.[:o]:D[:-]

Nothing like a little extra load on the system to find the weak link:)

The more I looked at the picture of the TURBOW, I understand what some of you are saying. The " device" simply holds your cables BACK, under the tention of laminated spring steel. So, on the release, the load in the limbs rips the string forward, while the load in the spring steel arm rips the cables back to their normal resting spot.Seems like it could put some real wear and TEAR on your cables if not set up " just right" .
Man, all this crap on the market makes me want to shoot a recurve.[:o]

Hey Rack- ROFLMAO!!. Now thats a funny truth!!
How tight can you make the string before it stretches a little more???

Savage websight- doesn' t flow well. if you want to see all of thier sight options you have to scroll and scroll and scroll!!

I guess my question isn' t what it does, I would just like to know if anyone has experiemented with it and what the results were.

It would seem to me that because of the modifications that are necessary to attach the ' Turbow System' it could void a number of warranties.
