tough choice, both are great bows. I think given the costs I would have to take the LX in your situation. I feel it is a little better bow for the money but the Pat is a little faster. Really you can' t go wrong with either but I feel that Mathews makes a very high quality bow and if you can get it for less then it' s a no brainer in my book.

As the others have mentioned be sure to try the Extreme VFT!

It' s sad that in the state of Indiana, we only have 13 Bowtech dealers. and mine is on vacation. The next closest is almost a 2hr drive. Now that my Saturday is shot with the honey do list, and chances are there is not a shop open on Sunday. I realy want to shoot the other two bows, but I' m afraid that the Mathews price may go up. Oh well, I guess like my kids say, whatever.

Have to agree with Rack Attack, kind of. I' m a Mathews fan and would vote for the LX or the Legacy. But if you are leaning towards Bowtech, check out the VFT.

BM,

I do not know if I would go that far. If I just aimed that Havoc Redline in the general direction of the target then the arrows seemed to find the bullseye all by themselves...;)......though this Pat SC is pretty darn impressive in its own right. The redesigned Patriot single cam eccentric is more than I bargained for as they seem to have rounded out the draw force curve on it quite a bit.
