SQ2 & Buzz Buster
 

Has anyone tried to install a Buzz Buster on their SQ2. The cable guard on this bow is to short and the BB does not reach the string. So the question is, am I out $40.00 or can I modify this thing some how. Also I asked a guy at the pro shop and he said that I could not put a longer cable guard on this bow, Is this true? Thanks in advance for any info.

You can put a longer rod on it , its just a pain to do it , or to replace a cabel rod on any mathews bow . You have to drill it out because its put in with j-b weld at the factory , at least thats how they used to do it . Sell it and get a saunders model that doubles as a cabel slide or get their " pro deadly quiet " same thing but it mounts closer to the rissor instead of in back of the slide .
