Wax on serving / string and cables

DO You Or DO YOU Not- put wax on the serving material that is on your cables and strings???
I have heard/read thats its good to do so so that the wax can be worked into and thru the serving and get to the threads beneath.
AND Ive also heard/read that serving material was not made to be waxed and waxing it could cause the serving material to become slippery and cause it to start to seperate.

My Mathews Pro Shop said to wax everything so I do. I also keep a piece of 4 0z tooling lether and rub my string and cables to heat them up and it really workd the wax in good. After a while you don' t need much wax any more . . . you' ll have enough on the leather.

I wax all of it Harness system included, although you do want to keep the wax away from your peep -and if you have one ,your string loop, getting it under these 2 items may cause them to slide out of placement on your string.;)

Yes wax everything. Before taking my bow out to the field for the season, I take the string off and wax everything heavily. When you put the string back on, you have to wipe the excess wax off.
