New Bow! PSE problems.... tuning

Just picked up a new PSE Firestorm Lite, 30" draw (right handed) with a long brace hight as a back up bow. Shoots consitenly good.. but a couple problems with the riser combo it looks like.

I have a Trophy Ridge drop away rest on it... and for a couple more days will have a Cobra adjustable range sight on it.. changing for a fixed multipin - or fixed verticle single pin. Probably try the Trophy Ridge Micro Matrix.. but none the less, that is the set up. Sims string silencers and 2 pc quiver and shoot a mech release.
Shooting Redhead Carbon Supreme 350s for target shooting with 4" vanes and 100gr thunderheads. Will switch probably to Easton ACCs for actual hunting once satisfied with the setup.

First - the bow shoots strait... and really good groops which is great but I have had to move the sight far to the right and close (maybe too close) to get it on target.

If I true up the arrow on the rest with it centered and 90 degrees from the string the then the vanes don' t clear the riser. Also not confident the vanes are clearing the down cable at the end of the power stroke.

I did the foot powder test and of all things the vanes are hitting the riser and specifically the PSE emblem that is sticking out in the riser area more than anything. It' s light contact but contact none-the-less. Should I pry that emblem off?

Also, I have had to move the cableguard (rotate) to the 2 or 2:30 position to get clearance on the fletching too which the manual states might be a problem from a cable coming apart stand point. Supposed to be @ 1:00 oclock?

Is there a trick to use to get the vanes on this bow to clear and to move the rest center left without screwing up the true flight of the arrow? If I move the rest left which looks like a more natrual postion then it looks good but the arrows cant as it' s then off center with the string. If I keep the same then the fletching hits the riser.

Will any sight I put on it have to be set way to the right from a sight picture perspective to keep this bow on the paper.? Shooting increadible tight groups to 50 yards right now but would like things trued up if I can.

I' ve experienced the same things with my Avenger.....the " sweet spot" is very close to the riser.....I had some fletching/cable contact but I slightly rotated everything (nock, cable guard, rest, etc.) to where it cleared. You might try different weight heads and see if a spine change will allow you to move things out a bit. Good Luck!

I strongly suggest that you first install the accessories you are going to stay with, and use the arrows you are going to hunt with before you get too serious about troubleshooting what you may not keep.
