ummmmm let me see.

SPOT HOGG by far the best pin sight there is.
They cost a little more but you get excellent quality and adjustability.

I own both, on different bows. The SpotHogg sits closer in to the riser, so I think it is better for hunting, especially with a clumsy person like me who is always knocking things with the bow. It is super strong and the pins are rugged too. The CopperJohns sits further out and seems therefore more suitable for faster bows shooting longer distances. It is pretty strong too, but not like the SpotHogg.

What I don' t like about SpotHogg is a) the wall thickness of the guard. Just not as nice to look through as the CopperJohns. b) The wall has a white ring, while the CopperJohns has an orange/red ring that you look through. White is not a good color to use - it is more difficult to look through a white ring than an orange/red ring.

I own a Copper John Dead Nuts Pro and love mine a great tough sight, it is worth every penny I paid for it. But I also agree with other posts in saying ther Spott Hogg is great also. I think whichever sight you choose you will be plenty satisfied.

I went with the Copper John Pro II over the Hogg It. Either one will be a good choice.

I have no experience with the Spott Hogg line of sights though judging by the comments that I see on the various forums they are the best out there. However, I had the opportunity to pick up a Copper John Deadnuts 3 pin hunter a few weeks back and I must say that this is one of the most durable, well constructed and well designed sights that I have ever owned. I would not hesitate to buy another.

The Hogg is double the cost of the CJ.

I saw the Hogg. It' s not a bad sight at all. I put the copperjohn on my Legacy though. It' s still not cheap. I paid 75 for the 5 pin camo sight. I love it though. I can' t say anything bad about the Hogg though!

Neither!
The HTM Last Word with hunting adapter is the finest in the land.
Model LWH 1500, It' s a Monster strong sight!
Second best is the Model BBH 1400.
The Copper John and Spot-Hogg are great sights but are pansies construction wise to these two HTM sights. ;)

Spot-Hogg is more expensive but look at the warranty. Their brochure says that even if your kid uses it as a hammer they will warranty it. Never needing another sight is worth a few extra bucks to me.

I stated earlier Copper John but I have noticed that since I have been shooting this sight for awhile it makes a weird noise at the shot. I took the sight off and the sound is gone. I checked all the screws for tightness and even put a small limbsaver on the sight but the noise is still there. I haven' t tired a Hogg yet but maybe it' s time.

I looked at both....Copper John and Hogg' s sight.
I currently shoot a trophy ridge and the reason why I wanted to change
is because don' t find my pins to be the brightest in low light conditions.

When I was looking to buy my new sight, I ended up leaving the store
empty handed because I couldnt' decide. The Spott Hogg looked to be
superior in quality, no doubt. But the pins didn' t look nearly as bright
as the Copper John' s. Does anyone has this problem? How are the
Hogg' s pins in low light conditions?

Hogg.

I own 2 and did have an issue but the warranty & serivce was AWESOME.

As for the pricing - if you compare apples to apples they' ll be dang close - remember - the hoggit has 2nd & 3rd axis adjustment, individual and gang micro adjustments. You gotta find those features on the CJ before comparing $$.

I use my hoggs for everything - IMHO there' s nothing more accurate.
