bear lights out string suppressors
Has anyone had a problem with the string jumping off to the side of rubber boot when released on this bow and what did you do about it?
|
Is your string centered in the boot at rest?
|
Jumping out no...but my string suppressor came too long from the factory so it was actually pushing the string out quit a bit so I chewed through my first rubber boot, replaced that and cut my suppressor down a little bit actually and then I was all set, maybe yours is too long too so it's bouncing off it too hard?
When the bow is just sitting there does your suppressor push the string out? |
They are not likely "missing" the v, as they are more likely bouncing out after initial impact. Unless your arrow flight is odd I'd say your fine as long as it doesn't do it everytime.

I would have to say that if the string is really 'jumping' off the stop, there is a bigger problem. IMO

The string jumping by the stopper on any suppressor IMO is most likely caused by torque somewhere.
