RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
For the Bowhunter the Muzzy Zero effect is going to be first on my list. I have tried a couple differnt drop aways and the Muzzy seems to have the best features for the bowhunter.

RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
I would have to agree that the Muzzy seems to have withstood the test of time. It is a bit larger in overall size than most of the other models on the market but it definitely is durable and reliable.

RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
Power Drop, Hunter elite and the Mirage by GKF are all good The TM conversion works very good as well.

RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
Muzzy Zero Effect - without a doubt
|
RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
I too vote for the Muzzy but I have used the Trophy Taker, QT 4000 and the Trapdoor without any major problems. I like the Muzzy because it performs great for hunting and it makes zero noise.

RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
There are a lot of good ones on the market the Hunter Elite & Mirage are both great hunting rests.
|
RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
Muzzy Zero Effect it' s the best.

RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
Mirage....you will not be disappointed.

RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
If you have an old Premier rest you can make one yourself. Just get the opposite handed prong and put in, turn the spring tension adjustment to where it doesn' t have any tension and then loosen one click, put a longer set screw in to hold the prong in place and attach a rope from it to the cable. You' ll have to play with the length of the rope to get it right. Cheap way to find out if you' ll like one. Several of us locally have it this way and have no problems with them.

RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
I have the mirage on mine and I am as happy as can be. I just didn' t like the bulkiness of the Muzzy. Never tried it though.
But my vote goes to the mirage. |
RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
I just installed a Trophy Taker (shacky) on my dual cam bow and can draw and release very quite. Also picked up 30 points on my 3d shoot last weekend. Good luck in your choice....

RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
Muzzy and trophy taker are proven preformers , some of the newer models try to immitate their features but fall way short , of all the models out there I' d say these 2 are " proven" and have standed the test of time without many failures

RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
Another vote for the MZE....for me it' s the perfect bowhunting rest.
|
RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
NAP Quicktune 4000 has my vote all the way.

RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
I just bought the mirage by golden Key. I like it alot, its simple.and easy to install.
I looked at alot of diffrent rest,This forum helped me decide. Im a newbie here. There are so many products out today I needed all the help I could get |
RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
I love my Trophy Ridge Drop Zone. Today I competed in the IAA State Championship and seen several DZ set-ups. They were all very pleased with the rests performance and not ONE shooter I talked to had had any problems of any sort. I will admit that there were more Trophy Takers than anything else but they all spoke highly of the DZ and really liked its features. [8D]

RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
Yes,there are a few good fallaways rests on bows around here too. See many Mirages, TTakers and Alleycats and a few Power Drops .
I have a Hunter Elite and like it like my Premier and I just put on a new TKO rest. Like this one because it is solid and simple, set up is fast and easy to adjust drop and speed and has many features w/o the weight of a tank. Check out the GK TKO first. |
RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
Another for the MZE:D Best one for hunting, the arrow Will be on the rest when it has to be... I can' t say the same for some of the others that I have tried...

RE: Drop Away Arrow Rests
Trophy Taker is the very simple, durable, lightweight and proven! Give one a try!
Good Luck! |
