OK, I have that straight. Now we're on the same page. Man, I know what I'd do. I'd cut the arrows to 28" and try both weight points. Whichever flies the best, tunes the best and groups the best is what I'd settle on. More than likely you'd be able to shoot the bow at that highly regarded 70#.

Being as you are cutting the arrows yourself you could cut one or two and see what happens. Like measure your inserts for length. Say that they are 1" long, for instance. Cut two arrows to 29" and try tuning them. If they show a little weak then cut them off right behind the inserts to 28" and try again. Worst thing this can cost you is the price of a couple new inserts. At 28" or less you should be able to make those arrows work with either point.

The arrows are fine at 29 inches long with 100 grain points according to On Target. I will show a pic of what it showed

Just don't go to short with your arrow. If you go to short and the arrow fall off the rest at full draw, BAD THINGS CAN HAPPEN!

Good advice. I was acting on the assumption that your bow is set for a 29" draw and you are using a Whisker Bisquit rest. This is probably set up near the back side of the riser so you should almost be able to chop arrows down to 27" if necessary, although it should be necessary. Try to keep your arrows long enough that there's about 1" in front of the rest, just for safety sake.

yeah 28" or 28 1/2" is about as short as i would dare to go. i do have an inch or so behind the riser before the rest i figure i have 3 or 4 inch's to work with. thanks for the input from all of u. now does anyone know of a good single pin or tunable pendulum sight?
