Just wondering if your still shooting a Trophy Taker drop away? Which model are you shooting and how easy it was to set up and tune?

I had a few;) problems setting up my shakey hunter. But it was more do to the nock travel of my bow than the rests fault. i think the TT rests are exelent products and posses the main criteria I like and that is simple toughness.

You should be O.K. with the hoyt, as I think the nock travel in that bow should not give you problems. If you find the original forks to small you can beef them up a bit with some well placed mole skin. just to give you a little more room for error.

If you do have some fletching contact (I recommend really checking well for it) just remember that you may need the rest to come up earlier and drop later in the cycle.

I already decided to add Drop Thongs from the Wild Outdoors, to the rest. They' re leather rest silencers that are supposed to have a very long life.

Those leather thongs[:o] look nice, pricey though.

Look at the other thread on here about trophy taker problems and read the TT instructions I posted.

Also there web sight has some detailed instructions.

I have noticed that fall away rests are mutch easier to set up on dual cam bows than single cam bows.
If you are not using a radical helical fletch I would just use a stationery rest.
they are a lot less of a headache JMO
