need some help please

I am having a really hard time serving my cat whiskers on tight.Could someone please post some step by step pics I could learn from.I can't seem to serve the whiskers tight enough to form a ball shape.Thank you.

Are you just trying to tie them on? Or are you splitting the string and inserting between the bundles? I myself put them thru the bundles and I use several overhand knots (5 sets of em) and terminate with a blood knot and burn the ends. Its hard to serve cat whiskers because of the rubber.

I want them tied on the string ,I think it looks more professional done this way.

Sorry I don't have any picture's but I can probably help without them. If you will tie overhand knots in the middle of the whisker's (the first knot you tie when tying your shoes)on opposing sides of the string and pull them tight, one on this side and then one on the opposite side, do this 4 times and then tie a double overhand (same knot twice-granny knot lol). I've found that this system works a lot better for tying on whisker's. After the whisker's are secured to your string pull some tension on the rubber and clip them to a length that will make a nice ball, approx. an inch. Keep tweaking/popping the ball and trimming until you get it just the way you want it. Hope this helps.
