Wife needs help, I have NO answer!!!
My wife has been shooting for 3 years now and is pretty dang good. We have been shooting quite a bit the last couple months for her first trip to Nebraska. But the last 3 outings her groups have opened up to about 6". She's complaining that she is seeing a second row of sight pins to the left and it bothers her. She does wear contacts as she is near sighted. She is going to schedule an appointment with the eye man, but I have no experience with contacts!!!! Has anyone ever had this, if so what did you do? I have heard in the past that they make peep sights with corrective lenses. Any ideas?

I have been shooting for 2 years with contacts now, the only time I have that happen is when my contacts are getting close to the month date. I change them once a month.
other that that, I have never shot better.

Does she shoot with both eyes open?
If so,which eye is dominant? If she isn't shooting with her dominant eye, that could be the issue.
My son shoots with contacts and he hasn't complained yet but time will tell.
There are verifier lenses that are suppposed to sharpen pins and clarifier lenses for clearing up the target.Rob has a little more experience in this area than I do.Maybe can help.

A dealer/pro shop who handles Specialty Archery products can/should have the set-up for determining which lens to use. The gizmo works similar to the machine that the optomotrist uses for figuring out the strength of corrective lenses needed, but much simplier.
The lens screws into their peep sight, so she'd have to change to one of them. Their peeps are available as tubeless or the alignment tube type.

Well we appreciate the insight. It has started since the last time she opened this pack of contacts (monthly) so she is going to put in a new set and see if it was just a bad set of contacts since she has had no trouble for 3 years until these past few weeks. If that don't work, then off to opt. she goes!!!
