Anyone ever try this ?

I should have said," anyone who shoots a MATHEWS,ever try this" .Well here it is : With the newer bows that have those string suppressers on the limb tips, would anything be lost or gained with removing them ?.Maybe a small speed gain, 1 or 2 fps.Any body try this yet ??

Why would anyone want a noisier bow, just to gain a couple feet per second in speed? I for one, love quiet bows and would probably be willing to give up 10-20 fps, if I could get a significantly quieter bow. ;):D

I' m with Straightarrow...why would you want to make your bow noisier?? It just makes no sense. I' d also give up 10-20 fps to have a silent bow. Quiet matters way more than speed.

Maybe, just maybe, he shoots the bow for 3d' s and could care less how noisy it is? Foam don' t jump string! I re-read the post and it didn' t say for hunting only.;)
