Any advantage

I remember seeing a post on a forum (can't remember where) that a member stated a longer arrow flies better. He gave no specifics as to why.

Are there any advantages to leaving the arrow long vs. cutting them shorter to fit a draw length?

Stability wise, I feel this is true if you have the correct spine for your draw. Think of it in the xtreames. Lets say you had a 6" arrow and lets say you had a 40" arrow. Which one would tend to yawl or be more apt to lose stability long distance or want to twist? But for hunters, makes very little difference.

there is a flip side however. Spine variations will become more appearant with longer arrows. Thats why folks with real long draws might have a tad worse flight than short.
