I need some Patriot Help!
 

This is not my strong point:eek:, So you string/cable twisting experts feel free to chime in:D.

I have some strange (to me) measurements on my 03 single cam Pat, and need some direction:)

Limbs bottomed out (my scale is busted) this is what I get.

> Brace height - 7.5, should be 7.25

> A-A is 34.00, should be 33.75

>Cam masurement from
CL of screw to Limb .375 should be .215 it is under rotated

>Draw length AMO 30" should be 29"

>Draw stop is on the 6th mark from the L with a #2 pat module. This is according to manual correct to achieve 80% letoff and 29" draw.

Both the string and cable measure within a 16th of an inch to specs. I nailed one end to my deck and pulled as hard as I could with a rod in the other end.


I would like to get the cam screw measurement correct and shorten the draw 1/2" .

What should I do???????????

Would you mind sharing what you learn??

I think I' m in the same boat with my Pro-38 - although I haven' t taken the measurements...

My 27" Pro-38 feels about 1" longer than my 27" Patriot. After shooting the Pat the 38 is pretty uncomfortable.... I just put another new string on the 38 so I know it' s the correct length.

I had planned on UNTWISTING the cable to lengthen the cable which I believe will:

Lengthen the ATA
Shorten the draw length
Increase the draw weight

Trouble is - I don' t know if I should do this or not....
