Arrow selection

I would like some help on finding the correct hunting arrow I should be using. I shoot a DXT, 60lbs with a 25" draw length. I use 100 grain broadheads...

I did it real easy

I had an expert pick out what arrow I should shoot. I've used that one, and one just very slightly different, for practices for the last fifteen years.

I didn't try to reinvent the wheel. His advice was long used.

Well there has to be some people on here that are professionals and know what I need for my setup.

I would recommend a 500 spine or lighter.

Running your numbers the Easton Redline 520 with 4" feathers and 100 grain tips @ 24 1/2" would be a great match.

The Easton FMJ 500 setup the same would also be a great choice.

Ok that helps. When you crunched my numbers what was the spine they recommended?

The 24 1/2" arrow would work alright, but I'd run it with blazers.. would that make a difference?

Also, what would you recommend is a good hunting arrow weight for my setup? (25 DL, 60 DW)

The Easton FMJ's look decent at a final weight of around 370 grains.. What do you think?

The 520-540 is about perfect but the 500 isn't too bad either. You could cut them a little long and be a little better.

You might try to go with a heavy foc (above 20%)on a 500 as well, that might increase your potential penetration. I would even go 25" on the 500's with the heavy weight up front.
