Default Spine Check

I have a DXT 27 inch draw at 64 lbs MY arrows are beemans ics hunter elites 400 26 1/4 and weigh 379. I tried paper tuning yesterday at pro shop i had a low tear. We could not get it resolved we put a goldtip 35/55 in it weighing 322 grains and it shot a bullet hole. The guy at the pro shop said i was overspined and needed new arrows . does this sound like it is overspined ? can some one run this for me

thanks

If the bemans are 28" or 27", then you are overspined. But 35/55 cut to 27" is a little underspined. According to ontarget.

If you raised your poundage up to 70lbs, and if your bemans are cut to 28", you should be fine.

Or if you cut your goldtips 35/55's to 27 and knock your draw wieght to 60lbs, you should be good. These programs just give a good estimate, but definately sounds like you are stiff.
